We’ve made some major upgrades to our BFF Club. To access your account (and exclusive deals), simply create a password for your existing BFF account! Navigate to http://www.friendlys.com/login and either:

 

  • Enter in your BFF email, leaving the password field BLANK, and click the “Sign In” button; OR
  • Click the “Forgot Password?” link (or navigate to http://www.friendlys.com/login/?login=recover), enter in your BFF email, and click the “Get New Password” button.

 

We’ll send you an email with a link to update your password. Once you have a password, that’s it! All of your previous BFF information should be available, which you can update from your Account page (http://www.friendlys.com/account).

Creating a new account is a breeze. Start by clicking “Sign In” on Friendlys.com and choose the “Create an account” option (or, just use this handy link: http://www.friendlys.com/login/?login=register). Once you’ve arrived at this page, simply scroll down and complete the form provided. There are only a few required fields to complete, but the more information you give us, the more awesome perks you get — like free birthday sundaes, discounts on ice cream cake and exclusive local offers at your favorite Friendly’s restaurant.

Lastly, hit “BE OUR BFF” and… voila! You’re in!

Oh! We’re sorry to hear that! Let’s see if we can get to the bottom of the issue.

First, let’s try resetting your password.

To reset your password, using your favorite browser (Friendlys.com works best with Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Apple Safari or Mozilla Firefox), navigate to http://www.friendlys.com/login/?login=recover

Enter the email address or username that you signed up with on the “Recover Password” page and hit “GET NEW PASSWORD.”

An email will be sent to the email address associated with your BFF account detailing how to reset your password. You should receive the “Password Reset” email instantly. If not, wait a few a minutes before trying again.

Once you have the “Password Reset” email open, click the link below the text that says “To reset your password, visit the following address:”

Follow the instructions on the “Reset Password” page and hit, “RESET PASSWORD” to make the update.

After your password has been successfully reset you will be redirected to the “Sign In or Join” page. While on the page, enter the email address associated with your BFF account into the “Email” textbox and hit the “Enter” key on your keyboard. A “Password” field will appear for you to enter your password.

NOTE: If you do not see a password field, you may not have a BFF account associated with that email address, to remedy this issue either use a different email address or follow the process described above in the “How do I create a new account?” section.

You could also be unable to log into your account because you either do not have a BFF account, or are trying to sign in with the wrong email address. To fix this issue, try recovering your password using another or older email address (outlined above). Or, create a new BFF account, using the process described in the “How do I create a new account?” section.

You may also be unable to access your BFF Account because our servers are experiencing ultra high traffic. (Free ice cream is really popular, who knew?!) If this is the case, try returning to your BFF Account after a few minutes.

You can change your BFF Account password two different ways: logged in or logged out. (We all forget our passwords from time to time. Don’t sweat it!)

To change you password without logging in, simply click the “Forgot Password?” option on Friendlys.com/login and follow the instructions sent to you by email, or refer to the section outlined, “I can’t login, help!” in this FAQ.

If you’re already logged in, click the “Update Info” button in the gray section at the top of your account dashboard. A window entitled “Update Basic Info” will pop up. Scroll to find the section labeled, “Change Password” and follow the instructions on the form.

  • After your password has successfully been updated you will be logged out and sent back to the “SIGN IN OR JOIN” page with a notice that your password has been successfully updated at the top of the page.
  • Sign in with your newly created password and you’re done!

Scroll down to the section labeled “Your BFF Exclusive Offers” in your account dashboard. This is where you’ll find all the local and exclusive BFF offers available to you.

Most BFF offers can be redeemed by presenting the coupon to your server. You can print the coupon or offer by hitting, “Print Coupon,” or display the coupon on your mobile device before you order at a Friendly’s restaurant.

To redeem Friendly’s packaged ice cream offers, click the “Get Coupon” button. You’ll be taken to a trusted external site like Coupons.com or Walmart.com. Follow the instructions to receive your manufacturer’s coupon and be sure to bring the coupon with you to your preferred retailer.

To change your profile preferences and/or any information specified within your profile settings, log into your account by visiting http://www.friendlys.com/login/. If you are having trouble logging in, please refer to the section labeled, “I can’t login, help!” in this FAQ.

Once you’ve logged in to your account dashboard, click the “Update Info” button in the gray section at the top of the page next to map of your favorite Friendly’s restaurant and favorite place to buy Friendly’s ice cream. A window entitled “Update Basic Info” will pop up.

  • The “Update Basic Info” section of the pop up allows you to update your first name, last name, your birthdate and zip code. You can also update important information like your favorite Friendly’s Restaurant, or your preferred retailer of Friendly’s ice cream. Providing this information helps you unlock exclusive BFF offers, and helps us to serve you.
  • The “Update Children” section will allow you to list all of the children in your family with their first name and birthdate. We use this information to provide your children with a free sundae on their birthday! You can add as many children as you like using the “+ Add Additional Child” button at the bottom of the section. To remove a child’s information from your BFF Account, click the “Remove” button at the bottom of the section.
  • Once finished updating your profile settings click the “UPDATE INFO” button at the bottom of the pop up to save your updated settings.

Unfortunately, you cannot update or change the email address associated with your BFF account. We recommend creating a new account with your new or updated email address instead. To do so, simply follow the instructions under the “How do I create a new account?” section of this FAQ.

Also, be sure to unsubscribe using your old email address by opening one of our previous emails and clicking “Unsubscribe” at the very bottom.

(Don’t worry! You’ll get all the same great offers and local exclusives in your new account!)

The offers and coupons found in your BFF Account are just for you and cannot be reproduced or shared with others! However, you can spread the word about the awesome deals you find by encouraging your loved ones to become a BFF here: http://www.friendlys.com/login/?login=register. Who knows, maybe they’ll pay you back with a free sundae?

You can also share the variety of offers displayed on our “Offers” page (located at http://www.friendlys.com/offers) by copying and pasting the URL into a new post in your favorite social network.
