Friendly’s in Norwood Hosts CelebrityScooping Event with the New England Revolution

WHAT: To celebrate Friendly’s Ice Cream being named the Official Ice Cream and FamilyRestaurant Brand of the New England Revolution, the 80-year-old Massachusetts-based company, alongside the New England Revolution, will host an ice cream scooping event with New England Revolution midfielder Teal Bunbury and defender Andrew Farrell on Tuesday, August 18 at its Norwood restaurant located at 1469 Providence Highway.

During the celebration, the New England Revolution players will trade the field for the Friendly’s ice cream counter to serve ice cream lovers and soccer fans alike, their favorite frozen treats, from classic Black Raspberry to indulgent Hunka Chunka PB Fudge®. Additionally, to support the communities’ youth, Friendly’s will donate 100% of ice cream sales from the event to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet their favorite Revolution players, as well as the Revolution mascot, Slyde the Fox, while also giving back to a great local cause!
